See it BEFORE you build! ™ It's the philosophy behind everything we do. At Residence By Design, we understand that many of our clients are homeowners who may not be able to fully visualize what their new home design or renovation project is going to look like simply by looking at a set of blueprints. While many design firms offer 3D rendering as a pricey "add-on" service, 3D renderings are incorporated into our design process at a very early stage.
Many clients simply need blueprints and while we take pride in providing, detailed, complete and easy to use blueprints, most of our clients ask for our 3D rendering services as well. We see the world in 3D everyday - have you ever ordered a dish in a restaurant simply because the picture in the menu made it look even better?
Travis Sutherley is the owner of Residence By Design Inc and started his career as an Architectural Technologist after graduating from NAIT in 2001.
He spent 6 years working for Sterling Homes learning residential design, drafting and helping to pioneer the use of 3D home design in the spec builder process.
In 2008, he left for a year to work with a commercial architect working on educational and healthcare renovation projects but found his first love was home design.
He returned to residential drafting in 2009 taking a position with Pacesetter homes for three years before transferring back to Sterling Homes for an additional two years.
In, 2013 he incorporated Residence By Design but took a year long contract position with Royer Homes in Beaumont learning the custom home business.
When not completing RMS measurements, designing new houses or designing renovations to existing homes, you'll find Travis cooking, camping, walking, cycling and volunteering.
